Admit it ladies- we have all been there, done that! We have all dated that a*shole who broke our hearts into a million pieces without so much as a reason and was pretty unapologetic about it! He is that irremovable stain on your dating record that makes you admit to having bad taste in men. Worse, you have more. From the occasional lapse in judgment to the drunken slip up and the I-thought-we-had-something-real sagas to the what-was-I-thinking tales, we all have a big, fat journal that can evince our bad taste in men.
I get it, there’s something extremely appealing about being with someone who seems all wrong and inappropriate but take that shame and turn it into something healthy. So you have often pictured yourself in therapy telling your therapist all about your ‘love’ for douchebags- so be it. Rinse yourself clean of the elements that draw you to these men because a bad taste in men, my dear friend, is only going to take you so far. And often, that isn’t the altar. God forbid it be- you never know what’s coming next. So, don’t blame the universe- assign blame to yourself and if you need help, we are here.

You keep averring that you aren’t looking for something serious or intense. However, when you do meet the ones who roll with your ‘casual’ thing, you get annoyed. Maybe it is time you matched your words and feelings and admitted you need something more fulfilling even if it limits your options.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
You get too attached too soon. This means the poor guy hasn’t even been vetted before he is asked if he’d like to settle in a country house or a posh penthouse. When this tendency scares off guys, you decide to come on even stronger and appear clingy and crazy! Try to dial down the intensity, bring the feelings to a simmer and maybe you shall attract the right person.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
You like the attention so much that it remains no secret to any onlooker. They shall, therefore, try to inch closer to you even when they have no intention of taking this to the next level. You are too blinded by the praise and adulation to look through the façade. Take off your blinders, girl- there is a reason you are attracting womanizers.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
You tend to believe that you have a carefully delineated list of what you want in your life partner but can be easily seduced by someone. So, try to slash through the superficial aspects to see what someone has to offer when beauty wanes. Because wane it will!
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
You tend to suffer from low self-esteem and also you are such a people-pleaser that you find it impossible to say no to someone. Learn that you cannot be with everybody and that it is okay to let someone down, albeit graciously. If you continue doling out the yes-es, you shall always feel trapped.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Anybody who matches your intellect and zest for life isn’t necessarily a good match for you. Get rid of this ideology to believe that you are every bit worthy of a love that may or may not be like you- but surely, likes you enough to be by your side through thick and thin.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
You seem to always look for the ‘good’ in people and you couldn’t be farther from the mark. You need to realize that not everybody is great and wonderful and that not every guy in your life shall be the prince you’d hoped for.

You need to realize that your busy life doesn’t leave enough room for you to get to know someone before you decide to give it a shot. You need to get rid of the habit of falling for the next ‘available’ guy rather than the ‘eligible’ one. You are a dependable soul and deserve someone just as worthy.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
You like the unconventional so much that you consciously seek out partners who are out-of-the-box. Maybe you need to realize that it isn’t always a good thing. After all, there is a reason normal is ‘normal.’ It doesn’t hurt to stick to the normal in things as love.

You are so giving that you allow your partners the power to walk all over you. You need to learn to stay rooted in the ‘real’ and stand up for yourself. And maybe, the right one shall fall for your new found confidence.
