Virgo Compatibility
Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury and belongs to the element of Earth. People born under this sign love everything with their untainted and simple self. They like to have a comfortable and peaceful life, without much dependency on anyone or anything.

When in love, they make a devoted and loyal partner, and are adaptable to their partner’s needs because they want to avoid conflict. Once they are in love and have admitted it to their partner, they consider it to be a done deal. While they are clear-headed and meticulous in their career, when it comes to love they are nothing more than an innocent lamb or a puppy that puts all their faith in the relationship.
Virgo (23rd August – 22nd September) and Scorpio (23rd October – 21st November)
One is the heart and the other is the brain, but share the same soul!
Scorpio likes power and Virgo wants order in all things. Together, these two can be a very successful couple. They both like their independence, but are also very dependable when the other needs them. For them, the relationship is a journey, where each has to take a step towards meeting the other halfway. Thus, they can bring a wonderful balance to their life. Ruled by Mercury, Virgo tends to handle the matters of brain, while ruled by Mars, Scorpio handles the romance. They both share a strong bond that fulfills the other’s requirement of emotional support. Scorpio is a dedicated lover and the practical Virgo enjoys its affection.

Scorpio is a Water sign and hence has very deep opinions. Virgo being excellent in communication can understand the hidden words and give Scorpio the necessary warmth and space. They both help the other to understand the world at a higher level. Virgo teaches Scorpio about the relevance of facts and harmony, while Scorpio shares its deeper perspective of the things and people around. Their conversation on life and its other aspects is not short of a philosophical debate (in a friendlier tone!). And due to this, they rather enjoy each other’s company at any social gathering. They love walking down a road, holding hands and simply talking about everything they see.
Virgo (23rd August – 22nd September) and Capricorn (22nd December – 19th January)
The perfect ‘no expectation’ relationship – a rare one too!
Virgo and Capricorn are both realistic and pragmatic people, and handle their relationship the same way. Romance is a superficial part of it, but it exists. They do not have overt expectations from each other, which acts as a great binding agent for the foundation of their relationship. They have a mutual respect for the work they do, and appreciate whatever little time they can share together from their mutual hectic schedules. They also build together a home that is comfortable, well-planned and shows their love for each other.

Capricorn and Virgo share a common characteristic of their nature that binds them more closely – devotion. Not just to their partner, but to everything related to them. If one likes an activity, the other will try their best to learn and enjoy it together. Also, as Virgo is a tad bit shy to boost their happy life with the Capricorn partner, the latter does not miss even a single moment to appreciate what they have. And this in itself is their romance. These two can also have a career in the same place, because both are capable of balancing love and work, and can keep it separate. Although they seem like a well-oiled machine, they sometimes do need a bit of servicing. Capricorn and Virgo partnership seldom has any troubles, except if one of them forgets to give due credit to the other for their efforts. Once this is solved, they can have a smooth sailing!
Virgo (23rd August – 22nd September) and Cancer (21st June – 22nd July)
It’s solved before you can spell p-r-o-b-l-e-m!
Cancer and Virgo have an ambition to excel and seek perfection in career, as well as on the home front. They both believe in hard work that lets them live a comfortable life with the finest things. Virgo being a sign under the element Earth is fairly stable in its methods and opinions that have an order to it. On the other hand, Cancer belongs to Water element, and can have varied interests at any point in time. But Cancer being the sensitive of the two, knows that Virgo will take its time to adapt to it and is content with it.

Another great thing about their relationship is that they rarely argue over an issue, and come to a mutual solution quickly and start working on it with immediate effect, with all their dedication. This tells the other the depth of its partner’s feelings and their need to make the relationship a success. Sometimes, Virgo’s forthcoming nature can cause some trouble to a sensitive Cancer, but gradually both work out a way to speak their mind without hurting the other. They both understand that a good companionship requires continuous effort, and neither holds back in contributing to make it better.
Other Pairings (At their own risk!)
Virgo is highly compatible with other another Virgo, which isn’t a surprise. Virgo also makes for a good partner with Aries and Taurus. The one person Virgo might not be able to get along with is an Aquarius, who is far too impulsive for Virgo’s taste. While one likes order, the other loves chaos. Virgo is all about method, structure and perfection; Aquarius also craves for perfection, but frequently changes the activities in which it seeks perfection. Even if these two manage to be in a relationship, it will be one roller coaster ride.
Another such not-happening relationship with Virgo would be of Sagittarius, who is very possessive while Virgo does not like to depend on its partner. Sagittarius is full of energy and is curious about things, while Virgo may not share the same enthusiasm. One relies on practicality and the other bases all its decisions on pure intuition and gut feeling. They do not fit any description of a happy couple in any way. If they ever happen to have found love in each other, they will have to work pretty hard to maintain it.
