1. Bleached brows

After the Givenchy show, we saw models go with the brow less look. People started bleaching their eyebrows or at least ‘faking it until they were making it’ using a concealer, a highlighter and a yellow eye shadow. Result: A whitewalker!

2. Eyeball tattoos

People literally dyed their eyeballs in shades of green, red, blue, and yellow! Bizarre, to say the least!

3. Sweaty betty

In case you are planning on having a shower after your Zumba, I say, “Blasphemy!’ According to the followers of this trend, you gotta save all the sweaty sheen and fake it with some spray-on baby oil, if you are a couched potato!

4. Colored beards

Mysterious creatures from the deep? Nah! Men with coloured beards, rainbow being the favourite pattern. Instagram was flooded with pictures of these ‘courageous’ men with beards that were green, pink and yellow among many!

5. Clown contouring

A whimsical trend of extreme clown contouring, started by BellaDeLune, a beauty blogger went viral this year. When she shared a video tutorial on how this theatrical clown base of makeup could also be used to effect a flawless beauty look, people went berserk. Guess you can see for yourself!

6. Dyed underarm hair

2015 I believe was #NoShaveYear for the women! They grew their armpit hair to the length of their hearts content and then dyed them, sharing the pictures with the hashtag #DyedPits! Miley Cyrus was one of the celebrities who embraced the trend!

7. Merman hair

Most of men’s fashion trends break the stereotypes. But this time, the dudes took it quite far! From the teal-coloured pompadours to the out-of-the-bed blue look, Instagram had it all under the hashtag #merman! Cringe-worthy!

8. Bubble nails

Lady Gaga. Cara Delevingne and Kylie Jenner were the ambassadors of this quirky trend of dying their hair silver! Women flooded Instagram with their silver selfies and hashtagged them #GrannyHair.. Nightmare!

11. Hangover makeup

13. Heart-shaped bangs

14. Pixelated hair

If you want to make your hair look like a PC screen, this is your opportunity. The dye is smeared in square blocks through large segments of the hair, which gives it the pixel-look because of the contrasting colour.
