  • Whisk 1 egg white in a clean bowl till it’s frothy. Using clean fingers, apply this frothy mixture on your face and neck, excluding the sensitive under eye areas. Let it stay for about 20 minutes, before rinsing it off with tepid water. Pat dry your face and apply a natural moisturizer like olive oil to seal in the moisture.

2. Egg white, lemon juice, and honey face mask – for acne-prone skin

While the honey is a natural moisturizing and skin lightening agent, the lemon juice helps fight off acne-causing bacteria. Additionally, this face mask helps lighten skin tone by getting rid of uneven skin tone.

Face mask

  • In a clean bowl, whisk 1 egg white and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice till it’s frothy. To this, add half a teaspoon of honey and mix well. Spread this on your face and neck, leaving out the sensitive under eye areas. Let it sit for 15 minutes, before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

Face mask

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1 egg white and 1 teaspoon orange juice till the mixture is frothy. Now, add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder to this and mix well. See that the consistency of the mask is not too drippy. Using clean hands, apply this on your face and neck, massaging it into your skin with your fingertips in circular motions. On the other hand, yogurt helps eliminate acne-causing bacteria, nourishes your skin from deep within, and gets rid of flaky, dry skin to reveal soft, smooth, supple, and younger-looking skin.

  • In a clean bowl, mash a quarter of a ripe avocado using the back of a fork, so that there are no lumps or chunks in it. To this, add 1 teaspoon of yogurt and mix well.
