Apple cider vinegar is a boon when it comes to curing many a skin ailment. It is rich in antioxidants, which help combat signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines quite effectively. Additionally, it also helps fight free radical damage to your skin. Apple cider vinegar is amazingly effective when it comes to clearing away pimples and acne, all thanks to the presence of malic acid. It makes it anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal, which help keep acne- and pimple-causing bacteria away from your skin.

When you step out of your home, your skin is subjected to all kinds of harsh things by the environment – pollutants, dirt, grime, smoke, and heat. These block out the pores on your skin with dirt and toxins, which in turn make your skin look dull, drab, and dark. Apple cider vinegar helps clean out the pores to give your skin a youthful and clean glow. Also, when you set foot outside your home, another major skin concern is being sunburnt. Not only does sunburn damage your skin, it also causes irritation, itching, and inflammation. And prolonged exposure to sunlight without any protection can accelerate skin aging. But apple cider vinegar helps soothe and calm your sunburnt skin, while also helping reduce the inflammation and redness.

Apple cider vinegar is also amazing in that it helps balance your skin between becoming too dry or too oily. Also, it helps tighten pores on your skin, thereby preventing excess oil, dead skin cells, and other pollutants from clogging them. Thus preventing breakouts, because clogged pores is one of the main causes for breakouts and other kinds of skin eruptions.
