Seems like the world of dating apps is out of ideas, if it keeps presenting the same old wine in a new bottle, doesn’t it? That’s what a new dating app called Inner Circle seems to be doing.
The Inner Circle, the brainchild of David Vermeulen and Michael Krayenhoff, is being billed as the dating app that caters exclusively to ‘ambitious and elite professionals.’ And, the pair came up with the idea for the dating app after being disillusioned with the existing dating sites and apps in the market.

Now. Where have we heard that before, you wonder? Well, the same was promised by US dating app, The League, which was created by a Stanford alum, in the hopes of catering to the elite – who are elite, in every sense of the word – their education, their profession, and not to leave out their financial status.

And The Inner Circle dating app, which is just a more sophisticated version of The League, has been storming the dating world in Europe, with its elitist strategy. The dating app which recently launched in London, has already amassed more than 10,000 of them as its elite members. But this invitation-only dating app is hard to get into, what with every applicant undergoing a screening process that determines if they are eligible to join the exclusive Inner Circle community.

Described as ‘Made In Chelsea meets Tinder,’ the app claims that it has tasted success in The Netherlands by matching up high flyers there and even responsible for several marriages and babies! The elitist dating app caters exclusively to the high flyers of the world – corporate executives, hip creatives, business professionals, et al.
The high flying app is already live in many hip and elite European cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, and Milan, with London joining the Circle.

With more than 50,000 members in waitlist, the new dating app is sure making waves across Europe. We just hope that all this hype will amount to something good coming out of this, rather than an ‘elite hook up app’ a la Tinder!
