Bryan Yambao’s(@bryanboycom) inspiration to join or rather, start fashion blogging was the homogeneity induced by the catholic school he went to. In order to break-free from the conformity, he searched for an escape from the mundane reality, and express an alternative in the world of fashion.
In a way, he continues to express himself through his fashion blog, and inspires others along the way.
Beginning his journey with a travel blog way back in 2004, he was noticed by other celebrity bloggers such as Perez Hilton, and formed traction with an evolved blog named BryanBoy.
His personal style of blogging differentiates him from the rest, and his emphasis on connecting with his audience and maintaining their trust remains the same, even after blogging for a good 14 years.
Which is why, even after having a Fendi campaign influenced by Bryanboy, and a Marc Jacobs bag named in his honour, and serving as a judge at America’s Got Talent, his motto is still the same— to lay the truth that’s out there, and maintain that personal connect.
