Seems like it’s the season to get married in Hollywood. First it was Castle star Stana Katic getting hitched to her longtime love Kris Brkljac in a private ceremony in Croatia, and now it’s the turn of Hollywood actress Amy Adams, who is all set to marry her longtime fiancé Darren Le Gallo this weekend in Los Angeles.

Sources have confirmed that the five-time Academy Award nominee will marry actor and artist Darren in a private ceremony in an undisclosed location in LA. Amy, 40, met Darren, also 40, in an acting class back in 2002, and have been inseparable ever since. The couple is tying the knot after being together for 14 years and 8 years after Darren popped the question, in 2008. The couple also raise a daughter, Aviana, together, who will turn 5 next month.
Amy has been very hush hush on the wedding details. Not a peep as to who’s going to be in attendance at the ceremony, although some sources have confirmed that the guest list would be a small one.

The insider also said,
“Amy and Darren had always planned on getting married, but her career has been on such an amazing trajectory, it has been hard for her to take the time out. But now she has deliberately taken some time off work to be with her family and finally get married.”

In a 2013 interview for Vanity Fair, the actress had said,
“I’m not pregnant. I’m not getting married anytime soon.”
And speaking about her man Le Gallo, she said,
“I know he’s completely capable and lovely, and beautiful, and offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being. We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I’m busy working.” She added, “I want something very family-oriented and laid-back.”

Amy Adams had previously said of Le Gallo,
“If anything, he’s probably a little more protective … He’s very protective of other people’s ownership of me.”
And about her career coming in the way of her taking time off is right on the mark. Amy has been in one big movie after another these last few years, some of them netting her the coveted Oscar nods. Most recently, the talented actress has been working on the much-awaited 2016 release Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, in which she’ll reprise her role as Superman’s love interest, reporter Lois Lane. The actress has also signed up for 2017’s The Justice League Part One alongside stars, Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, who would be reprising their roles as Superman and Batman respectively. Also, there’ll be Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
Well, however busy the actress has been, she’s finally tying the knot after 14 years and a child. Congratulations, Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo!
