Not many would disagree when I will say that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is easily one of the most beautiful women on the planet. Not to forget, she is also one helluva intelligent lady with an enviable mix of talent and wit. Not very long ago, her comeback to a snide question about ‘Indian adults still living with their parents’ on an English show was applauded by one and all. With immense pride, a killer cut look and a graceful intonation all-the-while, our former beauty queen shut down the interviewer with, ‘Yes, we do. It is normal in India to stay with parents even after you have grown up and it is okay because we don’t have to make appointments with our parents for dinner.’ Talk of ‘Jazbaa,’ ladies and gentlemen! You go girl!

And now, the green-eyed beauty is back with a bang in a cover shoot for the October issue of the Indian edition of Condé Nast Traveller. The shoot features Aishwarya in a retro look, inspired by the colonial times. Draped in a crème floral saree, with a string of pearls around her neck, a pet cat in hand, the former Miss World looks all set to board a train like the royalty she truly seems to be.

However, that’s not the only look from the amazing shoot that we are raving about. Another hauntingly beautiful look of the Bachchan bahu is one in which she is seen in a black number against a smoky backdrop. As if her presence alone wasn’t enough to set the whole shoot on fire!
