Here’s what- check out the most brazen face cleansing mistakes we make:
1. Face wipes

Break up with those face wipes- because those chemicals leave behind surfactants and emulsifiers that shall aggravate your skin problems. Also, all that stubborn scrubbing for your delicate areas are a strict no-no! STOP, screams your skin!
2. Harsh cleansers on oily skin

Using harsh cleansers that are high in sulfate content or include astringents or alcohol infusions may irritate your skin balance and cause breakout. Using a foaming gel cleanser with salicylic acid is a good way for forward!
3. Single wash

We load up our skin with so much and pollution and weather do their bit too. So, how can a single wash suffice? Once you have done your rinsing for the first round, go for a quick second. This shall help reach deep down into the pores that need that extra cleansing.
4. Switching up the water temperature

Blowing hot and cold with your skin is the worst way to invite a breakup with healthy skin. Take it from me- switching from hot water to cold water shall not alternatively open and close pores but send your skin into shock. So turn that temp knob to lukewarm, please!
5. Scrub, scrub, scrub and scrub more

Doing this everyday is going to tear your skin- even if it is flawless. Just keep the scrub routine to two times a week- and you shall have that soft, fresh feeling all the time.

6. Cream cleansers
Cream cleansers seem like a good way to clean your skin, right? But don’t let them sit there and soak them in cause they do not do any cleansing once inside but only clog pores.
7. Not knowing our products inside out

Reading what a product does but not the ingredients at the back is a rookie mistake. We rule out any allergies, harsh chemicals, alcohol infusions (if any) and more. What if you use sodium lauryl sulphate everyday or stock up on a product that’s 40% fragrance? Know what you put to your skin- for instance, salicylic acid is good for your oily skin.
