Pre-wedding photo shoots are all the rage right now. Go to an exotic location and get pictures of the bride and groom staring at each other with their hearts in their eyes. Or pick a beautiful local locale to get the job done. Either way, pre-wedding photo shoots are here to stay. And where there’s a photo there’s a chance that someone would photobomb it, knowingly or unwittingly, making for a great set of pictures that the couple is sure to cherish.
But what if the photobomb-ers were some 3000 nude cyclists? Yes, you read that right.

Ross Cohen and Blair Delson got married this past Saturday evening. For their pre-wedding photo shoot, the couple’s photographer took them through the choicest spots in the city of Philadelphia. When the couple’s photographer Joseph Gidjunis of JPG Photography was clicking away some adorable pictures of the couple in Dilworth Plaza, next to City Hall, they heard the unmistakable buzz of about 3000 bicycles approaching.

The body-painted and nude bicyclists were participants from this year’s Philly Naked Bike Ride, who photobombed the couple’s pre-wedding photo shoot. The couple, Delson and Cohen, took the interruption in stride and made sure that they’d have one heck of a tale to tell their future kids. The couple decided to go with the flow, with the bride grabbing handfuls of her tulle and lace dress, and made it towards the 3000 nude cyclists half a block away, and her groom followed.

Speaking about the moment they saw the cyclists approach, Blair, the bride, said,
“We saw them, and I sprinted in my heels and my wedding gown and decided to get in on the action.”
Cohen lifted Delson and twirled her around, who were high-fived and cheered on the by the 3000 nude cyclists. The participants even serenaded the couple with cheers.

The groom said, “We thought it was hilarious.”
The photographer, Gidjunis, is used to taking news photos, but now primarily does events and portraits. He took close to 100 pictures of the couple with the nude cyclists in the backdrop and many photos with the bicyclists waiting at a red light. The couple absolutely loved them.

“They captured the moment perfectly,” Cohen said.
Many of the nude cyclists seemed to enjoy their moment in the spotlight too, with some smiling and flashing peace signs for the couple. The Naked Bike Ride was related to the World Naked Bike Ride movement, which encourages people to bike more and to embrace nudity as a normal and enjoyable part of life.
