Just the word ‘love’ makes you fall warm and fuzzy. Falling in love is an exciting, exhilarating, and electrifying experience. You feel as if you’ve been set afire from the inside out, but in a good way. Although it might seem like you’ve loved your beau since the first moment you clapped eyes on each other, it usually takes a while before you feel the real deal. There might be strong feelings of infatuation with your new flame, but things need to become a bit more serious before any feelings of real, true love start to emerge. However, what are the definite signs you’re falling in love?
You start to enjoy the company of your beau above everyone else’s. You experience a gazillion butterflies in your tummy whenever they’re nearby. You can’t seem to stop thinking about them, even when you should be focusing on something else. You can’t wait to see them again, despite having spent pretty much the whole day in their awesome company. Everything you do or talk or see with them seems new and fresh. You might be feeling some emotions about your beau, but you don’t know for sure if it’s the REAL deal or not.

Signs you’re falling in love
If you’re not quite sure what you’re feeling for your beau, you might want to take a look at these strange yet honest signs that will tell you for sure if you’re falling in love or just deep like.
1. You’re your weird/honest/quirky self with them.

Without fear of judgment or scorn. And that makes all the difference in the world when it comes to falling in love or like, or even lust. You can crack bad jokes, laugh funnily, or show mild tendencies of your OCD behavior, but they’re still there. And don’t make you feel judged or a freak. Also, you don’t need to impress them with your skills or your coolness quotient. They make you feel good about your quirks and weirdness, and you don’t have to hide them from them. You’re just… you when you’re with them.
2. You start to predict what the other person is thinking.
When you’re falling in love with someone, you’re so attuned to their emotions, feelings, and thoughts, that you start to predict what they’re about to say, or even think. And it holds true the other way too. You can practically have a conversation with just your eyes, from across the crowded room, with just a lift of a brow, or the curl of the lip. Trust me, when you’re falling in love, you start to think like your beau, and do things for them, even before they even think about it, or do it themselves.
3. Other attractive people… who are they? Where are they?

When you’re falling in love with your beau, you don’t even notice any other attractive people. There’s something magical that happens where seemingly hot and sexy people… just vanish! They sort of become invisible. All the dirty and not-so-dirty things you want to do are henceforth reserved for your beau. Because you think there’s no one as sexy or good-looking or hot as the person you’re in love with.
4. You miss them – really, really.

Even though you spend an inordinate amount of time together, you still miss them when they’re not there with you. And you actually, really miss them like a part of your very being is missing when they’re not around. It’s a real ache of missing your beau, when you’re falling in love.
5. Boring stuff start to seem interesting and fun.
Whether it’s today or tomorrow, you have to get around to doing the mundane, dull, and tedious stuff that seem so boring. But when you do these monotonous, tedious things with someone you like, then it won’t be boring anymore. When your feelings become strong towards the object of your affection, just about anything you do with them seems like you’re having a blast.
6. Every song you hear reminds you of them.
Romantic songs are a given. But even ordinary, mundane songs start to seem extraordinary, and make you think about them when intense like starts to turn into love. Whether it’s the party songs or the motivational ones, your heart leaps at listening to the songs and makes you instantly think about them. And of course, the breakup songs will make you think about how much it would hurt if you both separated, for whatever reason. But you tend to not think such negative thoughts, to keep you sanity.
7. You feel high.

Research has shown that love can make you high as a kite just like cocaine does. Love tends to release chemicals like dopamine, oxytocin, and vasopressin in your blood stream, the same as ingesting cocaine. So what’s not to like? Say no to the drugs and just fall in love. It’s all the high you need in your life!

8. Without meaning to, you talk about the future.
When you’re falling in love, without giving it much thought, you start to make long term plans – whether it’s a concert scheduled three months from now, or that vacation you’re planning for next summer because you had such a blast this year. Sometimes, you even go so far as to discuss what you want out of life with your beau beside you for the journey. Awww! Isn’t that just cute?
9. You don’t mind making little sacrifices.

No, it doesn’t mean you’re bending over backwards, but being there for them when they need it the most. When they’re sick and really need you, or when they need you to not go out with your friends because they’d rather spend time with you than working, you do these little sacrifices because you really, really love them and want to make them happy, which in turn makes you happy.
10. You start developing similar interests.
Sure, having and pursuing your own interests and hobbies is normal and extremely healthy for a functional relationship. But when you’re falling in love, you also start to enjoy similar stuff, because it’s fun to do it together than doing it alone. And it’s not just pretending to like it, but actually liking and loving it, just as much you like and love the person who introduced you to them. Doesn’t matter if it’s just reading, or pottery making, or even hiking.
11. You feel invincible when you’re with them.

No matter what life throws at you, or you’re going through personally, when you’re falling in love, you feel as if you could take on the world and come out swinging on the other side. That’s how invincible you feel when you’re in love and have your beau beside you for the good times and the bad. Also, they make you feel safe and secure, like nothing bad could touch you ever. It’s a hard feeling to describe, this feeling of safety and security that your beau makes you feel.
12. You want to tell them everything. Every. Little. Thing.
Whether it’s good or bad, big or small, any news you get, you want to share it with them. You know they will be there for you, no matter what, and you want to share your joy or your sorrow with them. They just seem to get you and your emotions. Sure, this also happens when you’re in the ‘like’ stage of your relationship, but it only gets stronger as it turns into ‘love.’ They become your go-to person for everything. Of course, you’ll also have your friends and family in your life, but it just means that they’re your number one person you think of when something happens.
13. Every night doesn’t need to be ‘exciting.’

You’d rather stay in and read a book or watch a movie together, or even do nothing, than go out. When you’re falling in love, you spend time together as a couple doing nothing, than try and make every night ‘exciting.’ As long as you’re both together, you don’t mind where you spend it.
14. You feel down when they’re sad and feel down.
When you’re falling in love, you automatically pick up on subtle emotions and feelings that your beau is experiencing. When they’re sad, you feel sad. They don’t even have to spell it out; you just know. And you’re there with them, do and say whatever they need from you, even if it’s just sitting in companionable silence, so that they can process what they’re experiencing. And when you’re falling in love, it isn’t one-sided, but reciprocal.

15. You want to show them your world.
Wholly and completely. Whether it’s your childhood photos or your slightly bizarre stories you wrote while growing up, you want your beau to know everything about you. And you want to do things you’ve already done before, because you want them to experience it with you the second time around. You want them to appreciate the same things you do, but don’t hold it against them if they don’t. But you want them to know, you know?
