1. Gingko biloba
One of the most researched herbs for vertigo, gingko biloba increases the blood circulation to the head, which helps cure the symptoms of vertigo. According to doctors, the increase of blood flow to brain can also reverse tinnitus, loss of appetite, loss of smell, macular degeneration, and even short term loss of memory.
For this home remedy, you need to make sure you get yourself a high-quality herb, one that contains 24 per cent of gingko heterosides. You should start your treatment with 250 milligrams of the herb, once a day until you feel that the condition and its symptoms are subsiding. You can then lower your dose to 40 milligrams a day. The next remedy is a mix of coriander seeds, gooseberry powder and raw honey. Vertigo can be treated by eating fruits and veggies that are rich in vitamin C. According to a research conducted by Japan’s Hiroshima University of Medicine, Meniere (which is a condition related to vertigo) can be treated by taking vitamin C supplements regularly.
In order to use this as a home remedy for vertigo, eat vitamin C rich fruits like strawberries, lemons, lime cantaloupe, and veggies, such as, green peppers, sweet potato, broccoli etc.

7. Lower your sodium intake
A poor diet is the main culprit behind your vertigo attacks. Therefore, to treat vertigo related symptoms, you need to make some drastic changes in your daily diet.

To treat your vertigo, you need to make sure you drink 8 to 12 cups of water a day. You can also increase the intake of various liquids like fresh juices in your diet. However, caffeinated drinks should be avoided, and so should diuretic drinks.
13. Apple cider vinegar and honey
The next remedy is diluted apple cider vinegar solution with natural, unfiltered honey. This is because both increase the flow of blood to the brain.
To use it as a remedy, in a cup add honey and apple cider vinegar in the ratio of 2:1. Now consume a tablespoon of this mix. You should take it two to three times a day to get desired results.
14. Breathing exercises
The last remedy on our list are exercises to improve breathing. For people with vertigo or symptoms related to vertigo, practicing breathing exercises can help alleviate the condition. Also relaxation techniques, such as guided imagery, or biofeedback or even hypnosis can help treat acute vertigo.
