Wear your polka dot tights with an actual gown, coz WHY NOT? Now if you’re a regular wearer of gowns then I suppose this could be a fun thing to try, to switch things up a little. You know…if wearing just a gown all the time isn’t fun enough for you. For the rest of us plebeians, a more practical option would be to try this style for a homecoming dance or a black-tie (optional) event.

Alternatively, if a gown is a bit much for you, you could always try to wear these tights with an asymmetric maxi dress, for a chic brunch outfit.

7. With stripes

Mix and match your prints. This fashion era is one without rules and limitations. So go ahead and break the cardinal rule of never mixing stripes with spots. While Chiara Ferragni will probably look drop dead gorgeous in even a potato sack, we’re fairly certain that this oversized jumper and polka dotted tights combination is a total winner. You could also swap the jumper with an oversized t-shirt for a super casual look, or a long, oversized shirt, for a more high-street glam look.

We’ve already talked about how cute polka tights look with denim shorts, but if you want a slightly more put-together look, for brunch with friends or even a lunch date, then why not throw on a chic, long blazer?

We love this baby pink blazer and THAT HAT! Everything looks better with a hat. You could switch this simple retro blazer for a boxy blazer (with shoulder pads if you’re feeling it) if you want a more hipster look. Alternatively, you could go for an oversized Varsity jacket for a slightly more understated look, which you could wear for a more relaxed outing, or even to college.

Sure, leather and fur and polka dots are an excellent combination. What we love even more than floral-print dresses is floral-print dresses with denim. It’s so…country chic.
