1. Scream for ice cream

You are anyway going to scream your head off at some point in time of your period for no reason, might as well make it about getting your favorite flavor of ice cream! The frozen delight should make you sing at the top of your voice like Elsa –

2. Bring on the cheese

A thick juicy burger with triple cheese, is that a thing, oh yes it is! With an extra topping of mayonnaise, because those crampy monsters will satiate only when they get their dose of cheese. If there is no burger in sight, then get a double cheese pizza delivered home and sink in the cheesy goodness. If you still feel the need for cheese, then maybe a side of a Nicholas Sparks movie should do the trick. 😉

Double chocolate chip cookies’, munching on heavenly cookies is what the doctor ordered. Maybe not, as you are really not supposed to overdose on sugar but since when have you said no to a sugar high? The crunchy sweet is a perfect snack to accompany those Netflix binges you are on while on your period. Take care of the crumbs though, because we know you are not moving out of that snuggly bed for a couple of days at least. 😉

Or fried chicken wings, or chicken butter masala or chicken dumplings, just any chicken! Digging into the moist wonderland of a cake while watching FRIENDS for the umpteenth time is what you should definitely do to forget the bloody horror you are going through! Be it a rich red velvet cake or gooey chocolate cake, stuffing your face should be your priority 😀 Pro tip – Order a small cake to avoid regrets later as no matter the size you will want to eat it right out the box!

As your mood swings from depression to elation, these yummy treats will let you forget your agony for a moment. If not French fries, then anything fried usually works well too, maybe grab that packet of chips to go?

If you are not calling the day off work, it can get really tough to even wake up and get ready, not that it’s easier on any other days 😀 But on your period, your body rebels with a vengeance and coffee is your best friend. It will kick start your day like nothing else can and keep you going through the day. And once through the day, treat yourself with a yummy cold coffee.

You don’t need accompaniments for your nutella, the treat from heavens and truly the best and fastest way to slip into comfort. But you surely can forget the mess your body is making by creating a nutty mess of your own!

Topped with ghee, this delicious mix of hot rice and dal can give a run to your period blues. Of course those unlucky ones who stay away from home, our sympathies are with you but maybe you can stir up this in a one pot dish, the least you can sweat for a comforting time.
10. Chocolate

Believe it or not chocolate is actually good for you when you are on your period, no we are not making it up, dark chocolate is proven to have medical benefits. Though we should warn you, moderation is the key, but hey who cares about moderation when the luscious chocolate bar beckons you. Just eat it; you can worry about the breakouts and bloating later! 😛
